LAPD directs the public to the LASD Inmate Information Center for custody lookups and states that records may not be available for bookings in the most recent two hours. If you cannot locate someone arrested by LAPD, submit an inquiry or call for assistance.
LAPD Custody Facilities
LAPD identifies three regional custody facilities for persons arrested within the City of Los Angeles: Metropolitan Detention Center, 77th Street Regional Jail, and Valley Regional Jail. Persons arrested by LAPD may be held at one of these facilities, transferred to LASD county custody, released, or taken to court depending on the charges and circumstances.

- If no record appears, the person may still be in LAPD booking. LAPD states records may not be available for bookings within the most recent two hours.
